The BBC now offers a guide to sharing wildlife ideas with your neighbours in your street.
Ideas included putting up new bird boxes, listing all the wildlife you have seen in your street, as well as help for hedgehogs and bees.
It is a great idea for one of the activities at a street party – the general social, good food and all-ages play are the main things that unite everyone.
