Streets Alive’s home town is again the capital of social street parties with 11 happening in one weekend.
On the weekend of 5/6 September there were 11 street parties in Bristol. In fact there were about 100 over the summer – some are held quietly by residents without closing a road.
Some are held regularly, some are new and some residents with less confidence are helped along by Streets Alive’s various projects on community building and street play.
We think Bristol is still the street party capital and we would like to hear whether any places are even near this record.
