Streets Alive’s street party website has hit highest demand so far.
Since the beginning of the year this street party website has received 150,000 hits.
Over 2500 people a day are seeking help with their Jubilee street party and are also keen for ideas about street party food and commemorative gifts. Bunting is as ever in huge demand too.
It is expected that by the Jubilee 500,000 people would have read the site. This is much more than for the royal wedding a year ago.
As a result Streets Alive are confident that at least 3 million people will be holding some sort of neighbour’s street party this year, in addition to many larger public community events across the country.
