Small street parties with neighbours can be held anywhere in your street.
Street parties don’t have to be the full road-closed variety.
At short notice you and your neighbours can have a get together anywhere which is convenient, perhaps just for a couple of hours.
One example is in this photo from a recent street meet in London. They have been having them for years, but this year splashed out on gazeebos to keep the sun off!
You still have to involve all neighbours in the normal way, which is good anyway, but this way you do not need formal permissions from anyone.
The only thing is you must not obstruct traffic or pedestrians – let any through. And keep the music down.
