Residents celebrate after the 30th street in Easton holds its first party.

On June 29, Anstey Street became the 30th street in Easton, Bristol to host a street party, further proof that Easton is the street party capital of the country. Organised entirely by residents, like 29 different roads in the area before them Anstey Street discovered that the best way to engage the neighbourhood is through the street party.

Co-organiser Claire Anderton said: It was a really lovely day. People we had never seen before came out and brought food to share. The weather might not have been at its best, but that wasnt a problem. Not everyone stayed out for the whole day, but now that theyve seen what its like perhaps theyll get more involved next year.
