Housing association community workers training on street parties

The South West network of community workers are being offered training as part of their InBusiness programme.

Streets Alive offers practical training in developing a strategic programme of neighbours' street parties to achieve some of housing associations' community engagement aims.

The events being self-organised and funded, they build a positive and self-empowered feeling amongst residents. Once the residents are more engaged, their new interest can lead to action of the housing issues.
